Paris from A to Z (complete guide)

Paris is one of those cities that never fails to impress you. Whether you are a first-time visitor or returning to explore new sides of it, there are more things to do than you will ever have time for. The city combines world-famous monuments with an incredible cuisine, rich history, an outstanding art scene, excellent shops and numerous social attractions to create one of the most complete experiences you can get in your travels. Some experiences, however, are never to be missed for an authentic look at one of the most widely appreciated locations in the world.

Before jumping to the mandatory activities and destinations, let’s answer a question that we often receive from those preparing to visit the city.

What is the best way for me to reach my place of accommodation once I am at the airport?

Paris has excellent public transportation that we can easily recommend to use during your stay. However, we find it to have some drawbacks that are hard to ignore for your first trip to the city. After your flight, it is almost certain that you will feel tired and stressed out. Your luggage will only add to your discomfort, as you will have to carry it while searching for the right routes. Needless to say, the trip itself will not as comfortable or fast as you may want it either.

We recommend that you use a Paris airport taxi instead – these bring significant advantages when it comes to speed and comfort, without having you go deep in your pockets. You will be able to relax on your trip towards the hotel, as all worries of getting lost or losing your luggage will disappear. Once you are ready to explore the city, here are a few experiences you should not miss.
